Providence Electric, Inc. has served Lexington and the surrounding counties since 1998. It is owner-operated by Larry Burke, who holds the company's Kentucky electrical contractor license.

For homeowners it does new wiring, panel upgrades, lighting, troubleshooting and wiring for remodels and room additions, including work in older homes. Its jobs range from replacing a single switch to a full remodel of a 200-year-old home. The company says it has been a Tesla certified installer for more than 15 years and installs home EV charging stations; it also hooks up hot tubs and landscape lighting.
