Flat Rate Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor in Racine, started in 2005 by master electrician Randy Hobus. He has worked in the trade for about 30 years in both residential and commercial work.
As the name says, the company charges by the job, not by the hour, and gives the price up front. Residential work includes electrical repairs, panel installation, service upgrades, circuit breaker installation and repair, lighting installation and surge protection. It also does commercial electrical and lighting work and sets up lighting for outdoor events.
Flat Rate Electric works in Racine and Kenosha from its office on Perry Avenue in West Racine. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; call (262) 210-7978 to set up a visit.
