Nordeast Electric traces its roots to 1977, when it started as Northeast Electric, and has been run under its current name and owner, master electrician William Tomczak, since 2008. The family-owned company works from Central Avenue Northeast on the Minneapolis and Columbia Heights line.

The team concentrates on older homes: full and partial rewires, removal of knob-and-tube wiring, service panel and meter socket replacement, and Level 2 EV charger installation, plus general electrical repairs.
