Roman Home Services, known for decades as Roman Electric, started in 1929 as a one-man shop run by Roman Rose, who had just passed his Milwaukee contractor exam. The business is family-owned and now in its third generation of Rose family leadership, based on South 114th Street in West Allis.
On the electrical side, the company installs ceiling fans, indoor and outdoor lighting, outlets and switches, and it services panels and circuit breakers. It also makes safety and code corrections, troubleshoots problems, handles wiring, rewiring and cabling, and installs whole-home generators and surge protectors. The same company offers plumbing, heating and cooling, plus a home protection plan.
